This module aims to introduce students to the concepts of social media management, content strategy and how it can be used to design content that is rich, authoritative, attractive, easily accessible and appropriate to the target audience. The module also introduces students to online promotion and marketing, particularly search engine optimization (SEO) and its use in social media.
Week 1: Introduction to social media and social media content strategy
Week 2: Digital Content Branding and Content Creation
Week 3: Effective Content Strategy, Content Syndication
Week 4: Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Analytics and Measuring Success
Week 5: Final assessment
The course consists of one multiple choice quiz carrying a weight of 100% towards the final course grade. In order to successfully complete the course and obtain your certificate you need to achieve an overall grafe of 50% or above at the quiz.
A participation certificate will be issued upon completion of the course.
