1. How can I pay?

International Credit and Debit Cards: We accept most major international credit and debit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB and Discover.

PayPal is a supported method of payment for our courses in most countries.

Cash Payments and Bank Transfers may be an additional option for students in several countries. Please inquire at prof.development@unicaf.org.

2. How do I receive my certificate after completion?
As soon as you complete the final quiz/quizzes, you will be notified immediately via a congratulatory email and a request to confirm how you want your name to appear on your certificate; we will then proceed in issuing your digital certificate free-of-charge. If you do not reply to that email you will not receive your certificate. A printed certificate is also available for an additional shipping + handling fee.
3. What do your courses include?
Built to meet the way most people learn online, each course provides learners with an introductory video, tutorial videos, downloadable job aids, text & presentations, interactive games and exercises to perform, in order to build the desired skills. In addition, our courses include references and additional reading material as a way to enhance the learning experience of our students.
4. How do I take a Unicaf Professional Development course?

Our courses can be accessed from several different devices and platforms, including a desktop, laptop, and our mobile app.

After you enroll in a course, you can access it by clicking on the course link you will receive in your confirmation email. You can also begin the course by logging in and navigating to our VLE portal.

5. Do I have to start my Unicaf Professional Development course at a specific time? How much time do I have to complete it?

Our courses are asynchronous, self-paced and self-taught You can begin the course whenever you like, and there are no deadlines to complete it.

Students have unlimited access and can finish their course whenever they wish. Our mobile-responsive courses are designed to work on any mobile device and any screen size, giving you the freedom and flexibility to learn anywhere AND whenever you are ready.

6. Is Unicaf an accredited institution?

Unicaf and its partner institutions in the UK, the USA and Africa are registered and approved by a number of different jurisdictions around the world. All degree programmes offered by Unicaf and awarded by its partner universities are internationally recognised.

Unicaf University is a licensed university in Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe and is also licensed by the Commission for University Education in Kenya. In Malawi it is accredited by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE), and in Zambia it is accredited by the Higher Education Authority (HEA). The Unicaf Professional Development Courses offers non-academic skills-based short courses created by academics; every course features a certificate of completion to document your accomplishment. Our courses enable working professionals, recent graduates and job seekers to enhance their professional knowledge AND improve their career prospects.

7. How I’m going to be assessed?
Our courses have multiple-choice quizzes at the end. Depending on the number of the quizzes, each student has 3 to 5 attempts for each quiz to complete and submit. There is a time limit; it ranges between 30 to 60 minutes for each attempt. The pass mark for the quiz is 50%.
