Students will become acquainted with the structure of hotel ownership and management operations, with special emphasis on franchising. In addition to this they will understand the structure, nature and operating characteristics of the departments in a hotel. Knowledge on identifying the organizational structure and tasks developed in each department of a hotel will also be given while providing an opportunity for further developing those skills which are important to learning, e.g. library skills, study skills, and so forth · At alst students will be able to understand the new trends affecting the hotel sector and their implications in career.

The course consists of one multiple choice quiz carrying a weight of 100% towards the final course grade. In order to successfully complete the course and obtain your certificate you need to achieve an overall grafe of 50% or above at the quiz.
