It is organised into five sections Vocabulary, Grammar, Starting to Write, Web Projects, and Check Your Progress focusing on both language development and practical application. Zooming in on Writing
Zooming in on Writing is a focused module that builds on English Skills III and supports learners in developing clearer, more organised, and more effective academic writing. The module explores the key features of strong essay writing, including structure, coherence, and logical development of ideas. It is organised into six sections Essay Structure, Advantages and Disadvantages Essays, Problem and Solution Essays, Argumentative Essays, Essay Marking Criteria, and Sample Essays with Scores. Learners develop the ability to analyse essay tasks, structure different essay types, and present well supported arguments with clarity and confidence. Through guided explanations and model examples, the module prepares learners to produce purposeful and high quality academic essays.
